What Computer


Need to know what is the best computer to use to convert my speed density 88 5.0 5spd... to mass air...
I hear A9L then i hear A9P.. which one?

a9L . i think they are more tuner friendly. i.e. TwEECer.

did the 86 to 93 mustangs all come with it i have 3 comp. i have 2 auto and 1 86 manual are they the same ? what is the advantage of these?

It is the 89-up mass air computer, most all 5spds had them.

deffinitly go with the A9L its more tunable and if your car is a 5 speed it will work better because thats the 5 speed computer, the A9L is the auto computer

86 doesnt have a computer..........

A9L is the manual computer
A9P is the auto computer.

i wire has to be cut on the harness depending on what trans your using and what computer..... but they will both work the same.

86 was the first year for the fuel Injection 5.0 mustang I had one a 5 speed and it had a computer in it


I think that if u do a transmission swap (aod to t5) then is better to use the manual comp. Because if u use the 5 speed u won’t be able to take the codes out of the computer

u can used either...a9p work just like a a9l except it has the auto trans program thier about 25-50 bux cheaper and work great with a tweecer or PMS
