Restriction Question(s)
Heya guys...I have a 1995 gt. I am looking into getting heads and intake for the car. I currently am running the b303 cam which makes mostly high end power. At about 4500 rpm-up i can feel quite a loss in power. I believe this is due to airflow restriction (heads, intake...) I would like to purchase heads and intake anyways. Any suggestions on brands other mods??
I currently have installed: fenderwell cai, bbk shorty headers, off road h-pipe, flowmaster cat-back, b303 cam, underdrive pulleys, msd coil, cap & rotor, and a couple other new oe internal and electrical parts. thanks for the input |

And throw that B303 cam in the garbage and get one that will make some power. A good off the shelf cam that works well with aftermarket heads is the Trick Flow part number TFS-51402001 cam.

how much power would you expect to produce from a cam, heads and intake from trick flow like mentioned?

Tuning on the dyno is always recomended.

Darrell i dont think the cam is gonna come out...even though i would like to, i just dont feel like ripping the front of the motor off again. How do you think my power will turn out w/ the twisted wedge heads and track heat intake?

That cam isn't going to help you at all. The Ford cams are 20 year old designs that were decent 20 years ago but technology and head flow has come along way. Changing a cam is easy especially if you have the intake off.

yeah...im now thinking about just buying the packaged deal of twisted wedge heads, track heat intake, cam, r/r, and hardware/gaskets from summit
