Are you employing any power adders? What kind of induction are you using? Whats the displacement? Compression? Transmission? Gear? Weight of the car? Need more info than what you have provided. You may not want to hear this, but custom grinds are really the best way to go. That doesnt mean though, that you cant find an off the shelf grind to fit your motor.

very very little not enough to wast the money on a cam if you already have a stocker i don't think there is enough diffrence to be worth it i just wanted to let him no so he didnt destroy the valve or pistons

Why is buying a cam a waste of money? Why doesnt he have clearance? You mean to tell me that you cant run a flat top piston with a high performance cam? Thats nonsense.

if you guys would read what he wrote, he states he has a stroker kit ala 331-347 presumably since those are the only 8.2 stroker kits. You guys are rambling about 86 no valve relief pistons If you want to grab something off the shelf, find a XE comp grind

Okay? 331 or 347.. Could even be a 327 or 342 (yes i know those are the same cranks) Im not being anal, im just saying he didnt answer my question, so we dont know. Plus, knowing the displacement is just getting started.

Dude are you serious? Please go find me ONE no valve relief stroker piston for an 8.2 ford, I would love to see this. You guys are talking as if the piston he is using from his stroker kit is the same as an 86 piston. You have not grasped the fact he is not using a stock 86 piston
