GT40 heads?

i took an engine from a 1998 mercury mountaineer and put it in a 95 ford f150. we noticed that the engine had gt 40 heads on it and a friend told me that its the same 5.0 that was in the 94 mustang cobra. i dont know much about mustangs and he said i should get a mustang cobra computer and replace the one in my truck with it. would i notice any changes?

No its not the same engine and no swapping the computer won't work like JBIGBOOTSY said. Besides that the Cobra computers offer no benefit.
