putting the heads/intake back on tomorrow


I'm going to search the web, but thought I might ask here as well to double check the numbers I find. Can anyone list the torque specs and order to bolt the heads/intake back down with? Stock block, TFS heads, and using ARP bolts.

only 55 ft lbs on the head bolts! Shouldn't that be like 75 ft lbs?

could be on step 3 i think i may have forgot that 1 sec ill check the book

wow the website i saw was wrong... this is stright from the chiltons book...

step 1 55-65 fl lbs
step 2 65-72 ftlb
header 18-24 ft lbs

sequence looking at the exhaust side

..........9 5 1 3 7.......
.........10 6 2 4 8.......

you should really invest in a haynes or chiltons best $20 ever spent
