+1.... I wouldn't go quite as far as calling you guys idiots, but his post made perfect sense to me. I wouldn't comment on it, but I see it quite often.

Milder cam and in the mid 90s they changed the way horsepower was rated. Explorer's possibly had lower compression too but I'm not sure.

Manufactures measure horsepower at the flywheel where it is accurate. Dyno queens measure and compare rear wheel numbers.
