he is pretty much ashing how much hp did an explorer have that came equiped with gt40 heads and intake...well we need to know what year then i can google it and tell you but you could do it yourself too

Really? Why did they make less power then my stangs 5.0 with the E7 heads and a intake that flows less?

if i had to guess i would say

1 it was an auto explorer

2 i bet they have crazy drivetrain loss.....

3 i bet the cams suck

4 i bet the CR is pretty low

its a suv not a stang

i would like to be proved wrong if im wrong....im all about learning

1-2.) It was FW HP I'm pretty sure the trans and drivetrain don't matter.

3-4.) Makes sense but why would they put better performing parts on an engine to detune it? Do they have more TQ?
