clutch update, if ne one cares
got new clutch in today, went smooth only problems were with the piolet (i cant spell just sound it out) when i hit it with a slide hammer the only part that came out was the freakin center of the bearing so i spent a little getting that bearing out, so far i havent had the same old problems with getting into first gear

my pilot bearing was a pain too. I ended up having to cut mine out with a salsaw cause my exhaust and motor got so hot the thing melted to the crank. lol that was an experience.

Yeah, that never works ^^^ The best way is to get the pilot bearing puller and slide hammer. Usually the center does come out and then you put the puller back in after the center comes out and slide hammer it some more. The only thing the grease trick is good for is making a huge mess everywhere.
Congrats on the clutch install 91cobra. Did you get the clutch cable adjusted correctly?

yea using the slide hammer a second time on the outer part of the bearing didnt work, i had to take a cold chisel and hammer along one side of the bottom to work it out, once i started doin that it came right out.
so we went to dinner and i drove about what an average person usually does, and the clutch held with no problems |

yeah make sure you break it in for about 500 miles before you beat on it.

i used this method cuz the puller with the slide hammer kept slippin... the grease actually worked like a dream, after you do it once or twice its reall easy. you just have to repack it with grease everytime you hit it
