roller rockers


what it the difference between 1.7 and 1.6 and would they do anything on a stock motor, can they go on e7 heads and if i wanted to get gt40s later on will they swap over to those.

1.7 's add more lift to the cam

Not worth it if you ask me. It would be worth it to get roller rockers if you get better heads intake and cam for sure.

if you're adding a basic cam and are only going to do gt40/explorer top end stuff..just stick with 1.6's..the difference besides the .1 ratio difference the will make more lift for that cam, like i think the f303 cam is stock .512" lift, with 1.6's its supposed to be around .525-530" lift and with 1.7's its about .540-.550" lift...not exact numbers but you get idea

with 1.6 rockers an f cam has .512 lift with 1.7s it would have .544
