Brake light switch problem after upgrading brake booster

I did a rear disc conversion on my 88GT. After switching to the 94 mustang brake booster im having a problem with the brake light switch. After i push the brakes the switch is getting caught on the steering colum mount. Has anybody here ever run into a problem like this???? Has anyone used a 94 brake booster on there mustang??? If someone has a picture of the brake light switch installed with the 94 booster that might help me. Im sure someone on here can help me. Thanks ain advance
