BTW I think the pants thing is a track rule, NHRA only madates fire retardant clothing at certain speeds/ETs. Some tracks mandate pants and long sleeved shirts for everyone. Not around here though, too fucking hot in the summer people would be dropping like flies. The track I go to doesn't give a shit so I am usually out of the loop when it comes to safety rules...
