Check Engine Light


i have a 1990 mustang 5.0 an i just wunt an edelbrock upper an lower intake on it an i got a check engine light an it has a bad idle.... any one know what can be wrong?

thats weird i just put one on my 93 and no problems. check and make sure everything is installed properly. you should get a good gain off of it.

best thing to do is dump the codes and see what it tells you and someone will be able to help you from there.

Have the codes run @ autozone...Then post the codes and someone can better help ya out...Or you can try cleaning the MAF with some brake parts cleaner...

they only scan OBD2 cars.

Well then get it scanned somewhere...

The first thing I would do is take the MAF out and clean it though...

i checked all the senser i found a vacum leak so im taking it all off buting felpro gaskits on an cleaning everthing up an trying over again
