Launch it right off the limiter at 6000 and power shift the tar out of it.

Nothing like launching while bouncing off the limiter.

The axles will hold up for a while. I launched at 6000 rpm on small slicks with a stock T5 and stock axles and just over 300 hp at the wheels for a whole season without breaking anything.

Why wouldn't you want to roll off the line at 4500 or so to prevent loss of traction. If you have enough low end torque you should be able to beat a similar vehicle that spins it's way out. Comments? Thoughts?

It will be cool to launch at 6000rpm's but you will have a hard time launching like that... I would start low (high 2's) and see how high you can get it. I think you should set your psi also around 16psi.... maybe lower if you can.

He has slicks. He will have no traction problems. Run them at 11-12.5 psi and launch at 6000 rpm. Hold on tight.
