not sure on the F150, but you can pick up an 03-04 Cobra limited slip for around $299 (it will require you going to 31spline axles though)

people have done 9 second passes with stock cobra diffs

I believe my limited slip isnt working properly whenever i do a burnout the right tire turns but the driver side barely turns. doesnt turn enough to warm it up. so i was told that meant it was broke.

$50 ebay rebuild kit. It takes about 45minuts do install. No taking the carrier out, or anything.

you can get one from fordracing for 50 bucks and they have a carbon disc rebuild also but its about 110......most likely the clutches are just worn out rather than it being 'broke'

you can stack four clutches in each side and leave out a spacer to really make sure you put it all to the ground

What's better limited or the stock limited with some lockers?

If you put new clutches in stock or carbon with I reccomend it will still be a limited slip meaning you take a curb and one side will "give" alittle so you don't cause stress to the drivetrain if you have the extra cluch (4th) it will lock up more like a spool if your going serious street / strip car I would reccomend this route if it's more of a dd I would say just do the rebuild and use the three clutches in the kit even the stock rebuild kit will solve your one wheel peel problem

How bad is it on the street with the 4th disc. My car sees more street than strip but I don't mind losing street manners. I just don't want it to be something that can't be driven on the street. My diff is starting to go too.

it may "bark" alittle going around tight curbs but it's not gonna hurt the car

it will be fine, my buddy replaced the clutches in 2 different cars for me and put in the extra clutches, just remember to add the friction modifyer when you refill the diff with gear oil

so the friction modifier is what makes the regular gear oil work with a limited slip right?
