3" cowl hood

I'm looking to buying one, price is not my biggest concern but can't afford anything outrageous, but I want it to be good quality and craftmanship from a good company that I am willing to pay a little more for it. Any suggestions?

cervini's makes a 2.5" and a 4". The 4" is definitely liveable and is more like 3.5".

They are the best in terms of quality and fit and come with a finished underside. However...they are about $500 shipped.

When it comes to fiberglass hoods, buyer beware, you get what you pay for.

I looked at their website and seem to be nice, what is your honest opinion as far as craftmanship? For $369 not a bad deal if the quality is as good as Cervinis at $500, what do you think?

Baine just b/c it cost more does not mean its better but im not saying it is.The quality and craftsmanship is great it is also very durable and not flimsy.I think it was a great purchase and worth the money. To each his own but when i order another hood it will come from ho fibetrends.

im by no means saying that more money is always better, im just saying that if i were to spend the money that i would go ahead and spend the extra, is the underside of the fibertrends finished

I have two cervini's hoods, they don't even need much of a sanding before paint and the inside is finished. Nobody else makes a comparable fiberglass product. The extra money is worth it. It saves at least 4-5 hrs of body work time, which is about $200 by most body shop rates. So you spend an extra $130 to save $200.
