Mass Air question

I have an 88gt that i would like to switch to mass air. Is it true that i can only use the main harness out of an 89 mustang? Also which computer can i use? Would it be possible to use the harness that is in my car now? Any info would greatly be appreciated.

All you need is the $40 mass air harness from http://www.mass-air.com/Products.htm#Mass-Air%20Harnesses. It comes with instructions. Then buy an A9L computer and a mass air sensor.

It should be fine as long as your car is stick. It is a California manual transmission computer.
