Valve Covers

I just opened up the box with my valve covers to give the guy at the paint shop to paint and noticed there is no holes in them for an oil fill.....they sent me the oil fill extension but am I stupid there is no hole to put it in .... do I have to put a hole in it or are they the wrong covers....if they are the wrong ones can I put a hole in them cause sending them back is going to be a pain in the ass going through the whole customs thing again?....thanks...

They come that way so you can put the oil fill where you want it.
