subframe connectors

does the car have to be lifted up a certain way to install subframe connectors. at my school i have, 2 post lifts and an alignment lift. the subframe connectors i have dont involve cutting the floor pan they just bolt to the seat bolts on the bottom and weld on the front and rear subframe.

you can do it on either lift. but use the drive on lift if you can. All you do is lift it up and weld them on

I used a two post lift for mine and they turned out great

does the weight have to be on the tires or anything because the alignment lift is drive on but space to weld them were the need to be is limited the post lift the lets the suspension hang but i have to lift the car by the front subframe & torque boxs

also the post lifts im talkin about are above ground lifts with 4 lifting points.

Yes, lift it by the frame and take extra time to make sure it is level before you start welding.
