cars pick up

Hmm, My 5.0 seems to be kind of lacking pickup, its been sitting for 2 months i did the stereo (added about 90 pounds).. is that enough to feel a slower difference? Its got the stock 2.73's is that why it feels slow because ive been driving the 07' a lot. Its got an e cam and its rebuilt by ford.. what should i save for for this puppy?

does anybody know? i have long tubes, o/r h, mac cat back, maf 76mm c@l conversion, e cam, rebuilt 26k miles..

The new gts are pretty quick...I think it will come down to power to weight advantage.

with full exhaust, filter, and a 76mm MAF, our car edged out an 06GT several times. had 3.73s as well

so with 3.73's i should be close to a new gt.. mines 07 is supercharged so i cant compare their.

if you have an 07 with a sc then i wouldnt even be worried about the fox

go 3:73's with a 5 spd, 4:10's if you have a C4. get rid of the 90 lbs of stereo (you must have a midget DJ in the back seat?) upgrade the intake, headers and exhaust piping,
