Cleaning O2 sensors

Can you clean O2 sensors ? I got some Shell gas and beleive it messed up my O2 sensors since everything was fine until I filled up there.

was it a leaded race gas?

I do not think so. I got it in small town in Alabama at a Shell station with 1 pump in the missle of nowhere. I had a bad feeling when I was pumping the gas and lo and behold 65 miles out ..... rough ridin!

Gas additive seemed to help on the return trip but I think the O2 sensors may have had too much by then. Could I test them by just disconnecting them?

If it was me I would just run some gas cleaner like Chevron Techroline.

Never heard of anyone having to clean 02 sensors..........

Are these 02 sensors 14 years old?

might of been just a bad gas they had. it has happened before. some gas stations i get gas at makes my car run like Shiz.

might of been a bad load they got or maybe water got into the tanks. it does happen. more then most people think.

get some water in gas paste(its a water detector). spread a thin coat on a piece of paper and before you put the gas in your car put a little gas on the paper you just spread that stuff on and and if it changes color then they got water in there tanks
