So, how big of a pain in the ass was it welding up all of those little holes---and then making it smooth enough for black paint??? That's what my plans are for my engine compartment, so any pointers you can give would be appreciated.

take your time and use a mig welder with .030 or smaller wire and you conna haft to keep the amps around 2 and the wire speed around 2,now its gonna weld like shit but you haft to for the coke can metal our engine compartments are made out of.the holes have been welded and then after they were ground down with a grinder i tool a rolock disk to them smoothed them out even more,primered it,then a thin coat of bondo sanded it down primered again and then sanded once more and left the rest to the bodyman which he had to do almost nothing to it.It took me 3 weeks working everyday for at least 4 hrs a day.And its best to use a camelflop disk on the grinder instead of just a normal grinding disk,b/c a normal grinding disk will cut into the metal,and the camelflop disk is like a sandpaper disk but it last a hella long time.

sorry![]() I dont have it anymore i traded for a stock one,tell him they are ugly as hell.And i have no clue what my fucking bodyman did with my stock one i m going to kick his ass if i dont get it back along with a fiberglass hatch and 2 doors

yeah i think when i rebuild my motor and have it out im gona get in there and at the very least flat black it.......not sure if im gona go through and fill the holes yet.....im pretty sure it probly wont get the attention that jordans did though.....although it does look good
