5.slow?

Why do people call them that??? the 5.0's are faster than a lot of the cars on the road and still people call them slow I own a 87 gt 5.0 and its def not slow..

what do you think about this?

but i see people call them that that only own a z24 cavalier with a 2.8 multiport fl engine v6 saying they smoke 5.0's all the time..my bro also has a z24 and i have a 5.0 no way is it takin me..

It is actually parked in the garage awaiting new parts.
GT-40 intake,65MM throttle body, and a few other minor things.
Oh and maybe even 3.27 gears.(Will be DD once done)

I tell everybody my 5.0 is "slow"...

When they ask what I got, I just tell them its a warmed over, stock block, 5.0 with a little sqeeze on it.

Nothing special really... :wink

About 2/3's of the people who I let look under the hood...dont even realize what they are looking at.

i have an 87 with only an a/c eliminator kit and march pulleys and i got beat by a suburu impreza sti with a fart can on it just barely i was pissed ....the dude was tryin to talk shit but im pretty sure his car has a pretty powerful turbo on it doesnt it

they come stock wit a turbo, even the regular imprezas (sti's are beastly tho)

If it's a natural and will remain so, get 4.10's or else you will regret

You can get 'em as cheap as $140 Summit brand, $160 Richmond Gears, Motive Gear, Superior Axle, Ford Racing and so on.. pricing's from Summit Racing of course..
