AODE Under Pressure

Does anybody know if a 1995 stock AODE (max. 325 HP - 275 lb.ft) can withstand a 347 stroker SBF with Windsor Sr. Lite heads, TFS stage 2 cam, 30# injectors, CAI and 1-5/8" shorty headers?

If you have any experience, I'd appreciate your advice. I know nothing about auto trannys.

AODE's are fairly tough, as are most automatic transmissions. Go with a reasonably sized converter, shift kit, and trans cooler and it should live a long happy life.

I'd also install a set of red alto clutches as well as upgrade the intermediate one way clutch to the mechanical diode style and the intermediate stub shaft to the later style.

Yep.. got Alto Eagle high performance master rebuild kit, with TransGo Heavy Duty shift reprogramming kit, mechanical diode conversion kit for AODE.. next will get an ACC Night Stalker torque converter with 2200-2800 stall speed (think it's reasonable for daily drive) for $300 from CNC Motorsports, and an transmission oil cooler.. I need to check about those parts you just mentioned.. but would I need them for applications below 350 HP or below 400 lb.ft?
