grinding 2nd

if i try to shift too fast, i grind 2nd, is this a synchro issue?

it only grinds for half a sec and goes in... depends on how hard i slam it.

harder slam = less grind obviously.

oh. i just slam it hard enough so it doesnt have much time to grind.

since i have to shift slower, my 1st-2nd shift, i prerev before popping it.

only for that shift though.

wondering if a rebuild kit will eliminate this.

yes its bad for it, i try to make sure to shift slow to second and avoid it if at all possible, and if you rebuild your trans youll fix everything if you do it right or have it done
