Contemplating 2 Powerplant Platforms And Need Some Advise

ok so here it is, i have an 87 gt and i just put a T56 tranny in it... it already has a 327 stroker and i'm putting about 300hp to the wheels and i'm wondering which route i should go next.

option 1: pull the 327 and reman it down to a 306 and then twin turbo it

option 2: navigator 5.4L 32v 4cam w/ a lightning supercharger

therein lies the dilema, i want 550-600hp to the blacktop and i'm just looking for serious advise from those who might have done similar.

i'm looking for complete mod list (what else will need to be done to fit it).

i'm also wondering if anyone has ever done this before (5.4mod in a fox).

i have everything else done to the car to support the power, all i need is the power.

this car has a 5.4 lightning motor in it and was recently for sale on ebay

thx a bunch... those just confirmed my suspitions...

5.4L can't be a sleeper and that's what i'm looking for, guess it's either drop the sleeper or drop in the 5.0 T T

I think you will be a little happier with the 306. Cause good luck with the quad cam 5.4 engine. It is a bitch to build by yourself and the engine alone is going to cost a lot.

YES the TT kit is way more expensive then the S/C kit but it is going to be a lot easier to build the 5.0. They should make similar numbers but cost about the same.

Plus you can't beat that whistle!
