What size rear speakers?


I thought there used to be a forum just for sound stuff but anyway, does anyone know what size speakers i need to replace the rear speakers? and while im at it the front speakers (under the dashboard?) as well? thanks in advance!

fronts are 3.5 doors are 5.25, rears are 6x8 or 5x7 (both fit).


I bought these recently and they sound pretty good, not much base, but excellent sound.

Make sure the dash speakers are short as there's not much room above or below. I got some Infinity's and they barely fit.

really, I put infinitys in the front too and they fit fine?

if it is an 85, no door speakers. Some 87-93s had door speakers if they had the premium sound package. Also came with a factory amplifier.

speaker size


you can fit 6x9 in the back... thats what i have.... the only problems i came across while puting any speakers in my car are the door speakers... i put infinity 5 1/4 in and they barely fit because the magnet is a little too big but with some patients they will go...

Yea that's what I got for my '84. Fitment might be better in the '87-93's. They're at Best Buy too.
