Good deal on parts
I bought the rear suspension from a friend of mine today for $100.
http://caddpro.net/mustang/images/mustang%20028.jpg It was on his car and I have seen it go mid 5s in the 1/8. He replaced the suspension with one that was fully adjustable after he went with a big block. I also got the brakes- front and rear. He had just put them on about 3 months before he upgraded to Aeros (all aluminum or something like that). He told me after adding the BB he needed to shed a few pounds and he got a good deal on them. And they are 5 lug rotors. http://caddpro.net/mustang/images/mustang%20030.jpg I also got Moser axles (28 spline) 5 lugs. http://caddpro.net/mustang/images/mustang%20031.jpg And he gave me the center section with welded spider gears he used when he was running mid 5s. I am not sure about this one, but I am sure I will at least try it out. I f'd up and put it in the bed of my truck and it got a nice coating of sand, I am soaking it now to remove all the debris that it covering it. http://caddpro.net/mustang/images/mustang%20034.jpg I got everything above and a few other goodies (new MSD Blaster 3 coil for example) for $300 (including the suspension). Good deal to me, what do you guys think? |

i know......and if your goin around turns then one tire is already slippin becaue of being locked together just like the drag cars do at the track......i just dont think it near as streetable as a locker or limited slip.....plus there cud be some accelerated tire wear

Driveline wear with a spool adds up too. Welded gears are just like a spool only 20 lbs heavier.

I also bought UPR full length subframe connectors with lower torque box reinforcements and the UPR upper torque box reinforcement kit. I bought these new from UPR. Thanks Danielle (UPR) for your help.

im sure most his tire wear will be from laying rubber down on the road =)
