Engine transfer help

I have a 82 capri body....I am looking to drop in a 5.0 engine...my question is what would if any differences be in the motor mounts if I went with a 5.0 HO engine out of a later model fox body engine lets say 88-92. Would the mounts be different for those engines...

They should be the same and the motor should go in fine as long as the original engine was a 4 or 8 cyl. I believe the 6 cyl had a different k-member but I don't think Capris ever had a 6.

He's right. It's an easy swap on a carb car.

I think it's now official I'm going to swap my 2.3 for a 5.0.....
