Patrol Cars

I recently bought a 91 LX , it is a former SC State patrol car. Do they do anything to these cars or do they just leave them stock? I just want to know what all im working with before I start putting things on it.

Im not exactally sure what is done to them but I dont think that they are stock.... I would google Mustang 5.0 SSP and see what you can come up with. I seen one at the Englishtown Swap Meet with a 408 in it, tubbed out, etc. It was insane lol

sombody told me that they have a special police pack, that has more speed. I dunno, You might be faster than a stock 91 LX.

Hmmm..... cant argue with that. Good Call! I am still very shocked though. I THINK they only had 157hp in 1982 when they first came out because most foxes had that (I believe but dont quote me on that). But I think they started putting the H.O. motor in them same time as the foxes that had 225hp/300lb-tq. I could be wrong though.

Maybe in 1982 they had 157 hp but 87-93 is absolutely no different than a 5 liter GT or LX.

^^ Thats exactally what I thought. I dont see why they would make all the other GT/LX's with 225hp and the SSP with 157 you know.
