8.8 rear end????
i have a 88gt stock rear end my posi went out is there any rear end from another car or truck that will fit with posi? i have a pull a part by my house and need to know what to look for

the " posi unit " in your mustang is actually called a trac lock and it is rebuildable, what happens is the clutches inside wear out and causes the dreaded 1 wheel peel, you can get new clutches for it and repack them yourself for probably 50 bucks or so plus the cost of gear oil ( and the friction modifier )

I would rebuild it though. everything turns fine but it has had a few passes on the track. |

I have never rebuilt one honestly.. it can't be that hard.. there aren't too many parts in it.
a rebuild kit is like $50.00 or so. |

I'll take a look for it it my garage .. Best I can do on send out time would be this Saturday honestly.. I work 6am to 6pm except on weekends.
It "should" be less than $20.00 to ship. it's not light. I'll let you know what it costs though. |
