The 3.08s were an option on the stick cars and yes 3.27s for the autos.

Yep, all three are T-lock 3.27s with automatic transmissions-that's what the T means after the E.
M=2.73 T-lock (8=open) Z=3.08 T-lock (Y=open) E=3.27 T-lock (5=open) T= AOD 2=T-5 This is what I got from the Ford shop manual for my 90 anyways. 2.73 was the stock gear--regardless of which transmission you had. The only difference was the optional gear-3.27 AOD and 3.08 T-5. |

i thought ssp mustangs could opt for the 3.55's. thats what i was told by the garage that was outfitting police cars. (i was looking for leftover parts esp. 3.55's). i see no ownage too. this is a forum we're talking issues over, isnt that the point? oh and i know spp's arent really stock but...
