i had the f303 with fully port, bowls/intake/exhuast and 3-angle valve job and ran awesome with some 1.6's...the 1.7's will give you about .20-.30 more inches of lift, and more lift the more power, but them more lift the more piston relief problems you will have...

look into either one of these brands..all are good and will do fine

comp cams
crane
trick flow
harland sharp
ford racing

all are common and all will do...

well my heads are ported really well..and im running bbk shortys, o/r h-pipe and flowmaster super 44's..with the timing set at 14* and the idle is around 900rpm...it sounds fucking killer..real nice sounding street cam

yeah on the street with a real mild not built motor 1.7s are overkill
