its not my car i am not gonna have egr on mine.. do u need a plate at all in that intake?? cant u put the throttle body right up to it?

You can put the throttle body up to the intake if the inlet is the correct size. The only problem with that is then there is nothing for the throttle cable bracket to bolt to.

doesnt the bracket bolt to the stock throttle body?

No it bolts to the EGR spacer...you could probably modify it.
