can i paint the 5.0 HO badge plate on the upper manifold?
will it mess with anything if i pull the plate off to paint it?

No. The threaded holes and the plate do not intersect with the inside of the maniflod at all. Paint away.

Yeah with deepest experience, I brokw my plate and I saw that the hole I thought was there, wasn't YEEEPPEEEEEE!!!!!. LOL I said fuck it, I will buy another plate but I see there's no need. Although the BBK Intake looks so dang good. The good looking one, not that box looking one.
