It depends on what pistons you get, etc. and what machine shop you take it too.

Also, good luck with the powerdyne!

Why do you want to bore your motor? You won't see any horsepower from the extra 4 cubic inches. Yes alot of people have bearing and internal belt problems with Powerdynes.

Powerdyne's got absolutely the lowest prices in the market - that's why it attracts buyers.. but I've seen a lot of people complain from quality, after sale services & technical support.. I dont have a personal experience with Powerdyne, but Kenne Bell yeah.. their technical support has become real crap.. they don't even supply you with pulleys nor pulley removal tools anymore.. not even switch chips ATI & Vortech seem to be the most popular with huge high-end power gains.. but price-wise for a street Stang, I'd go Paxton Novi 1000 if I had a second chance..

as for boring the cylinders, that if you have a tired high-milage motor, oil blow-by, or negative compression test.. your best bet is to go for a mild stroker kit, something like 331 with forged pistons for the blower.. it wont cost you an arm or a leg.. as a matter of fact, it wont cost you much over a normal rebuild. There are many aftermarket brands: Eagle, Scat, CHP, Hawk..etc.

yeah thats what i was planning on doing im looking for a lx i found a few decent ones but i sold mine because the tranny was going and i didnt want to dump money into that i had a grand saved up for performance and thats whats its gonna go for so any brand preferences(cheaper the better w/o a P.O.S setup), cost, and hp gains with also adding a mild cam would be appreciated a lot

+1 with everything said about powerdyne. I also have no first hand experience with them but I have heard plenty and plenty of horror stories about them. For the extra hundred bucks or two I would just go with a Novi 1000. If you want to pull more boost out of them you can upgrade to a 8'' Renegade Crank Pulley and a Power Pipe and pull 8-9 psi out of it. Possibly a little higher. And if you really want to up it you can get one of those to 13-14 psi with whats listed above and a 2.75 pulley.
