T5 Fluid Question

Ok i just sent my girl to the store to get me some fluid so i could change it and she got valvoline max life ATF will that work? need a answer quick trying to knock this out real quick incase it starts raining again lol

alright cool, i know it takes ATF i just didn't know if the max life high mileage shit would be any good in it

correction, ATF is what goes in WC T-5. Gear oil goes in the earlier bushing and brass synchroed T-5s.

Then Dex III is the best thing for you, but any ATF will work. Also a low weight (20w) synthetic gear oil will work too.

well i got this at the house so im gonna use it, if i dont like the results i will go get some more when i get paid its not a hard job to change the fluid, i might just go to mobil 1 synthetic when i get paid and can spend $25 on fluid if this i got dont work

well the trans is fine with it, dont really like the high mileage stuff but oh well it was here and the trans had already been drained
