=) IAB, IAC, AIC, AIB any of those work. does the same thing. little solenoid that lets air in your intake. lol.

you know you have to set the TPS (the little black thing on top) to .95 to 1.0 volts to make the car run right if you put it on with out seting it the car will race like that too

No man I had no idea can you explain that to me, no one ever told me that and I didnt see it any where I was told throw on the TB and go,

i dont think you should change your computer yet it is too early to tell check everything else first then try your computer..you will see more problems with a failing computer

Some ford technician...the computer can't make the car idle at 3000. Physically, the engine needs air to get to 3000 rpms. You have air getting to the engine somehow. This is either

1) the TB plate is adusted poorly
2) the IAC is stuck wide open
3) you have a vacuum leak (this could be through your PCV or EGR system)

To troubleshoot, take the IAC off and block the hole with your hand or something else to seal the hole. If you idle is still 3000, it is not the IAC. Put the IAC back on, and block off the TB. If still at 3000, you have a vacuum leak.
