Sorry - new here.
Are the actuators +12v? If so could there be a short so that the actuator is constantly "locking". If you disconnect the battery does it make a difference? |

well... I used brute force to remove my F150 door panel while the door was shut... I shot some solvent all over the latch mechanism and other parts... it eventually unlocked and I thought I'd be alright. It unlocked several times and then it got stuck again. Following 1989Gt.'s advice, I figured it was the actuator. I removed the actuator and hoped that the all would be well... it turns out the issue is in the lock mechanism, because the same thing happened after I removed the actuator. Thanks for all of the advice/input everyone.

i replaced oth of my door acuators with new ones from lmr and instantly the passenger door randomly sticks and will not unlock if you force the handle you break it if you yank the knob you snap the clip and pull the hole rod right out of the door and if you force the key it will break, i have never seen a car where the power lock will seize the entire assembly but these do, the actuactor is held by a rivet that tends to continually loosen and let the actuator turn instead of push and then it will jam, i have now had the panel off 3 times and reriveted it 3 times and it keeps on doing it the drivers side does as well, if i have to climb in the hatch i will rip the power right out of it
