What thermo do you have in there? Do you have a stock one? I would change your thermostat to a 180. If you want you can also go with a three core copper rad... I got mine for around $150 but I would try changing your thermo first and than see if that helps. Also, while you are changing your thermostat I would flush the system while your at it.

I put a fluydine rad, electric water pump, and electric fan and have not had any problems. I only noticed it getting a little warm in the middle of summer when it was hot when i was sitting in traffic not moving.

Yeah I always have the problem sittin at a stoplight. It goes up real quick too. I have the stock water pump and thermostat as far as I know. I haven't Changed it since I bought it bought 7 years ago. I wasn't sure if just changin that would help or if I needed to go ahead and put a electric fan and thermostat or maybe a high volume electric water pump or new radiator or wut. I'll try the thermostat first since its the cheapest but me and a buddy did the DIY electric junkyard fan route for his stang and didn't know if that would maybe solve my prob.

You shouldnt have any problems with a 185 thermostat and a DIY Taurus electric fan... those e fans flow amazing numbers and should be able to cool your motor with ease. Good Luck!

Yea, I know what you mean. When I first baught my 93 GT a few months ago I was having cooling problems even though it was 100% completly stock. AC on at a redlight and I would jump 20-30 degrees. I got a three core copper rad and a 185 thermo and my car does not see over 185 unless Im beating the hell out of it for an hour it might go to 190 lol. Even though you have a ton more mods you shouldnt have any problems with a 185 thermo and maybe an electric fan upgrade from a taurus. If the problem continues *which I doubt* go with a thee core radiator. Good luck.

Ya I thought the aluminum heads and intake might b doin it but not sure and I mean it can b in the middle of the gauge and I can stop an not a minute later its in the red. u can watch the gauge creep up quickly. I've put 5000 just in the motor and don't wanna c it go to hell cuz can't get the heat problem fixed. and just changin to a flexlite fan hasn't helped

Cooling problem
Thing about electric water pumps is that they are not designed for the street. Reason being is that they only run at one speed and they do not vary with the motor like a mechanical water pump does. I would get rid of the electric pump and install a high volume mechanical pump wit a Moroso high flow 180 degree thermostat. With the rad that you have and the electric fan you have you should not have any problems cooling that car on a 100 degree day with the a/c on. fan should be set to come on at about 187-190 degrees. GET RID OF THAT ELECTRIS WATER PUMP!!!

my electric water pump works great I dont have any problems at all. The car is barley driven right now and when it does go out I go balls to the wall the whole time with no problems. The thing I like about it is I can shut the car down and leave the water pump and fan on and the car will cool in less than 5 min. I like thats all that matters.[/quote]

You shouldnt need all of them but I would first try a 180 thermostat and see if that helps. It should help alot but maybe not completly cure your problem. If the problem persists, go get a three core copper rad. You sould be fine than... or even just go get an electric fan.
