You will need 83-92 4 cylinder Ranger rotors in the front and 83-92 4 cylinder/3.0 V6 Ranger driver side axles and drums or 86-97 Aerostar passenger side axles and drums. You could convert the front suspension to 87-93 style also and then use 85-91 Lincoln Mark VII front rotors. The rear is the same whether it is a 7.5 or an 8.8, they use the same axles.

I was just going to make a topic asking about the conversion, but since one is all ready up I'll just throw my question on here.

Is it really worth going from 4 to 5 lug? Anything really special about converting or just a few more wheels to pick from?

brake selection and wheel choice. Personally unless you are building a road race car, i don't see it worth the money....... You can get really good 4 lug rotors...

another cheap way to do the 5 lug conversion is to get the front hubs off of an 80 something lincoln markVII and two driver side axles from a couple explorers. remember you have to use the posi unit too because they are 31 spline axles. all can be picked up at the local junkyard for under $100.

Wheel choice is about it but pretty much every aftermarket wheel company makes wheels in 4 lug for Mustangs now anyway. Brake selection isn't really a benefit unless you are getting larger rotors and if that is the case you won't be doing a Ranger or Lincoln rotor swap anyway. The only thing that changes between a stock 87-93 4 lug rotor and a Lincoln rotor is the number of wheel studs. Everything else is the same.
