Well, i rebuilt the track lok an hour ago with the carbon ones, and will take the car out for a test drive in a day or two. Ryans 88gt, thanks for the sticky and the tricks about the s spring. that thing was pissin me off till i put on the hose clamps. thanks again

well took the car out, the carbons are real nice, no issues with rear end but now got an adjustable upper control arm makin noise.... hahahha one thing after the next

Are you saying you have to buy two rebuild kits if I want to add the extra clutch pack instead of the extra shims?

I joined just because of this sticky !

I you are using stock style clutches you reuse the outside ones and flip them over so the good side is facing towards the crosspin. If you are upgrading to carbo, then yes, you'd need 2 rebuild kits.

Damn... Do you think its worth buyinng two kits though?...its cant be that much better than stock 50's

Just using the 3 new and one reused and flipped clutch is like having a locker. The downside is they only last about 10-20k miles of hard driving.

The carbons last significantly longer, so they are probably worth it. I would not upgrade to another diff. If you need something more locked up than that, go to a mini spool or full spool.

Thanks for the quick response I dont know if i would want to have to change them every 20K and i dont want to have extra packs lying around so itll be a tough one xD

cuz i loose a lot of traction on one tire

no more one wheel peel outs!
