What Year Would Be Better For A Collector Car
Next year im buying a stang buying its not going to be a daily driver but
more or less driven on sundays in the sun and being kept as a collector car all ways liked the 90 to 93 Gt and some day there will be little of them campared to the 00 to 04 so what would be a better car for fun and being kept as a collector car . Cars will Have a 5.0 and 5spd and kept stock because i like to drive cars the way the were back in the day .so anyone know would the older stangs be worth more in 15 years or so. |

With the 90-93 cars you aren't going to get a hell of a lot more in 15-20 years but there will be a small increase. Obviously if you keep one in mint condition you should be able to get a pretty penny for one down the road. But don't expect much more then a 20-25 percent increase.
It is hard to tell though, you can't really know how much more it will be for one it all depends on what heppens to the mustang in the next years. |

So u dont like the first generation mustangs?? those refurbished are worth alot more than a fox-body.... if u want something that actually is a classic. technically it has to be 20 yrs old to be considered a classic... i like the 68's

i wouldn't really consider the fox gt's to be collector cars. Maybe if one has less than 1000 miles on it and everything original and mint condition but that will cost you a pretty penny. Any of the foxes that I would consider collectors are the 93 cobra. 5.0 foxs are a dime a dozen nowadays

If you can find a 1993 Cobra then you should sit on it...Or a t-top notchback lx...Hell a factory notchback lx is going to be a collector car IMHO...I hate that I sold the 2 that I owned...

I don't think i would be able to buy the real deal when it comes down to 60s mustangs. So you don't think as more 80s to 93 stang go to the junks yards the few left will not be worth much.and i thought if you could keep one when it hit 25 or 30 if would be worth some thng

It will be if it is in Mint condition, just nowhere near what the 60's are worth. I could kinda tell that you had your mind set somewhere so I didn't bother with telling you "Oh it's not going to be worth as much as this, or that."
I like the idea of picking up a 93 cobra. Keep that thing in good condition and try not to get more then 50-60 thousand miles on it and it will be worth plenty to someone. You can get a good one right now for about 5-6 grand. Probably 20 years for now that will be worth about 10. |

I can't think of any that were built that close to where you are, but then again I could very well be wrong.

maybe a pretty good, close to mint condition gt for 11 grand, but i doubt a cobra would be that cheap. Who knows, you might happen across one though. Good luck
