Differences between '85 and '92 WC-T5?

I got a buddy who has an four eyed fox, I believe its an 85, and he is switching to a built C4. Since my trans is junk he said he would let me see if his in any better shape. If not I will just return it, and have mine rebuilt. So what are the differences between them? Also is the swap going to be difficult?

No major differences. If you just change the trans, between 2-3 hours. Your trans, if it's a '92 has a little higher torque rating than his if it's an '85-'89.

Yeah I dont plan on making any big power out of this car anytime soon, but it will be H/C/I this spring. Its mainly a street car but will see some strip duty on some D/Rs.

Thanks
