Difference in Blocks???


is there really any difference between a stock "cobra" block an a stock "lx" block? speaking in 5.0 terms of course. because i know the stock "lx" blocks can handle 500 horses an was wondrin if cobras are any different...

I've never heard that there would be any differences. So i'd say all 302s are unsafe when over 500 horses

I thought the 5.0 Cobra's were packed with forged crank/pistons. Been wrong before thouigh...

so what does that mean? cuz i know of a guy runnin a vortech an a stock cobra block an he's pushin about 520-530 hp
