rim up grades

I have a 1990 mustang lx 5.0, and i want to up grade on the rims and tires. I want to put 18-9s in front and 18-10s deep dish out back. What do i need to do and change to make that happen? Also, changing over to a five lug conversion kit!!! I know cobra makes one, but would that kit work for me?

first off you will need to do a 5 lug convertion. But you can go to Mustang Wheels by Wheel Replicas - Deep Dish**** Mustang Replica Wheel Specialist and look a the ssc style wheels. They are shipped from Katy, TX. You can get they wheels in a 4 lug but you will need to change your upper and lower control arms so that you can remove the quad shock for the wheels to fit. Once that is done you should be able to run a 315/35r-17 if you wanted to run 17's.

i don't think there is any way you will get that size wheels on that car without using really long studs & a ton of spacers. plus they will stick way out from the body.

You can fit that size tire just fine I run a 275/40-17 on the front and a 315/35-17 on the back on 17x9 10th anniv. cobra rims
