dipstick depth?


anybody know how deep should the dipstick go in the oil pan?

Empty the pan, fill it up with 4.5 to 5 quarts of oil and mark the dipstick.

I could try to find out, what year is it though? I dunno for sure if it will make a difference but there were alot of 5.0's out there.

Thats what I did. My Dipstick measured way off when I got my car.
