rocker/valve lash adjustment
my machine shop dude,. said torque them down to 24lbs. each.
however i did this and i broke 2 screws on one head, so there i stopped. Does this sound correct, and i just might have poor bolts... or is that the improper way to torque my rockers down |

If your bolts are breaking at 24 ft lbs you got problems with your torque wrench or your bolts.

yea i returned the wrench, it was some weak powerbuilt garbage...
supposedly ford tells me that i got the last 8 rocker bolts in the country.. so im picking up a good wrench and installin them eventually |

Torque wrenches are not created equal, you get what you pay for.
