Head Swap

My car was overheating and I decided it was the head gasket (the nitrous was the catalyst). So since I was breaking into the engine I decided to swap gt40p heads(ported/polished), 1.7 sharp rockers, typhoon intake, mac 70mm throttle, fms gt40p headers, underdrive pulleys, and delete the smog pump(shorter belt). Well after swapping everything the starter was sounding really bad. I decided to change the starter relay, starter, battery, and when trying to start the noise is a rapid tapping. I believe it is the new starter trying to work. I have fuel pressure, but I think the distributor may be the problem. I marked the distributor when I removed it from the engine, but the manual says to make sure piston #1 is TDC and to align the distributor to that. Any ideas of where to go next to get my stang back running?

If the starter isn't turning the engine it's not getting enough juice. Sounds to me like you're describing a low voltage condition.
