What times are you getting now. Low 14s possibly. Some of the other folks can help you better then I. I have a carburated 84. Is sounds like your asking a lot for a little ford. Supercharger perhaps?????

Re: Mods
5 speed? With slicks and good driving mid 13s won't be a problem. A nitrous kit and a set of heads will get you in the 11s.

^^ The cheapest way would definetly be a nice shot and a pair of slicks. But if you want power all the time and not just on the bottle... a entry level blower with some upgrades and a decent h/c/i will be able the same... so you decide! Just remember though, you can get a Novi 1000 for like $1700-1800 and put on a 8'' Cracnk pulley and a power pipe and pull 9psi out of it... than would put you into the 11's with ease! And you could actually put that big ass maf to use lol
