New Project Toy... Lets Hear Some Ideas

well guys, today i was approached by a buddy, with a deal i well..lets just say could not pass up. so i now have myself a new rolling chassis to play around with. my 89 is my daily driver, so i figured we do mild to wild street strip with this, since its already prepped with a nice 8 point cage, fuel cell, holley fuel system, and ect. so what ideas do you guys have? i have a 355ci small block chevy sitting in my garage that would be fun to put in it..whats your thoughts? 302? 347? 351? 408? C4? T5? 4.10s? 4.30s? gimme some ideas guys!

i would say a stroker setup with 4:10s. when i get the money, that is what i am doing with mine. any way you go, you should have fun with it. Do what you want to do though. Dont let people influence you too much. get some good ideas and then make your decision. Have fun, looks like you are on a great start to making this car fun already!

I always wanted a 351 Crate motor with a Tremec 5 speed. 3:73's or 4:10's in the rear with a NOS shot when things get hairy! The cage'll sure make for a nice stiff chassis.

im thinking a AFR 347 T5 set up with 4.10s and a 28 tall tire.

408 stroker is a great combo for the money...very potent. and if your car is gonna be strip only or mostly strip, build up an auto trans w/ decent stall conv.

then sell me that chebbie unit! I have an S10 in dire need of some balls. the poor old 2.2L 4 banger is about to give the hell up and go home, and the automatic has been built 6 times over. I need a heart transplant for the little truck.
